Spring General Meeting

Allie Thornley - Matron and Clinical Lead (Renal Medicine) at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust - came to speak at our Spring Meeting.

She covered various aspects of the Oxford Kidney Unit under four main headings:

People - news of staff coming and going
Activity - numbers of patients and good news on capacity
Strategy - how to improve on the Transplant Team's best ever year
Quality and Projects - how to respond to increasing elderly and frail patients and how to involve patients in a trial project at Milton Keynes RU.
